Program:
DAY 1
08:00 a.m. Meet your guide in Beloyarsky
(The exact place of the meeting to be confirmed in advance with a guide)
08:15 a.m. Departure to Polnovat Village (56 km.)
In summer, transportation by boat on the the Kazym and the Ob Rivers
and, in winter, transportation by minivan.
10:00 a.m. Arrival at Polnovat Village
Polnovat Village is located at the confluence of the Polnovatka River, the Koimka River, and the Ob River. People originally settled this area because of the natural river and forest wealth. The locals have always engaged in fishing and hunting.
The modern Polnovat Village is a beautiful site where one can walk along clean home town streets and admire old traditional Russian houses (along with modern buildings). The enormous Ob River was always the main road and most adult inhabitants have their own motor boat. About 23 tons of fish are caught by Polnovat Village fisherman yearly. Domestic cattle breeding has
also been successfully developed.
10:15 a.m. Registration at Medvezhy Ugol Tourist Center,
located in a picturesque cedar forest along the Ob River. The Center has it`s own fenced-in territory with a comfortable duplex-type cottage (for up to10 people) and a Russian banya*. On the ground-floor there is a toilet, a shower, a refrigerator, a kitchen, a spacious sitting room with contemporary furniture and a fireplace. There are 3 rooms with double beds and 1 single room on the second floor
10:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Breakfast
11:30 a.m.—13:30 p.m. Excursion of Polnovat Village.Visit the Assumption Day Church an architectural monument (XVII-XX centuries.) and the Museum of Local Heritage.
14:00 p.m. -15:00 p.m. Lunch
15:00 p.m. -19:00 p.m. Fishing (equipment is provided).
19:00 p.m. Dinner, includes prepared freshly caught fish platters around a campfire. Banya**
DAY 2
9:00 a.m.—10:00 a.m.- Breakfast
10:00 a.m.- Departure to Samutnel (84 km.)
In the summertime, transportation by launch or ship along the Kazym and Ob Rivers and
transportation by snowmobile in the wintertime.
11:30 a.m. Arrival at the sparcely populated northern community of Samutnel
officially registered in 2002 and situated in the ecologically clean riverside of the Kazym River, about 140 кm from Beloyarsky, where an abandoned village, also called Samutel, once stood
This Tourist Center offers guests a whole complex of services in the unique natural conditions of the pristine taiga. This extordinary site is suitable for year round fishing, hunting, berry picking and collecting mushrooms and healing herbs.
During the hunting season (and year round) one can encounter bear, wild boar, elk, fox, wolf, marten, sables, wood grouses, blackcock and duck.
Accommodation at Samutnel: house for 12 people with akitchen, commodious sitting room and 6 bedrooms .

Checking the routes and hunting guide’s instructions and suggestions about local types of game.
19:00 p.m. Evening dinner.
Campfire presentation about the lifestyles, legends, history and traditions of the sparsely populated North communities of the Middle Ob River and Samuntel.
Banya*. Rest.
DAY 3
9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. Breakfast.
10:00a.m. Hunting. Stops and meal breaks during a day—hot tea from thermos.
Lunch. Chow wagon.
19:00 p.m. Back toSamutnel. Dinner, preparation of game.
Stories about hunting methods, Master-class about the meaning and application methods of local decorative pattern
Banya*. Rest.
DAY 4
10:00 a.m. Breakfast
Preparation for check-out.
11:30a.m. Departure to Polnovat
13:30 p.m. Lunch at the Medvezhy Ugol Tourist Centre.
Rest orfishing, wild berries and mushroom picking (depending on season), upon request.
17:30 p.m. Departure to Beloyarsky
19:30p.m. Arrival.
*Medveshy Ugol means “Bear Corner” in Russian
